LiveMath and MathEQ are produced by MathMonkeys, LLC, based in Harvard Square,
Cambridge, Massachusetts.
MathMonkeys is operated by a group of individuals who care about Mathematics
Education and providing its customers with high-quality, useful software products.
The MathMonkeys believe that expanding mathematics from the usual text book
pages students are so afraid of, to a LIVE, un-intimidating environment,
accessible to all levels of users all over the world
will help today's students advance their knowledge of math with greater
understanding and less
fear.
We believe that math is cool.
We believe that math should be live.
We believe that math should be accessible.
We believe in LiveMath.

Rylee Hannah Wayand
"The Boss"
Born July 9, 2000, Rylee is the newest addition to the LiveMath team.
She's everyone's favorite boss, thus she gets more attention than anyone
else in the office. Of course, if anyone else were as cute as she is,
they'd get all that attention too. But Rylee is a task-master. She makes sure
everyone gets their work done and even helps out with things, when needed.
Her skills with JavaScript and paper disposal are often in need around the office.
Rylee enjoys playing ball and giggling,
taking walks with her mom, finding new keystroke definitions on her
dad's G4, and playing peek-a-boo.

Beth Wayand
I'm Rylee's Mom...oh....OH....
I do most else besides Math and Programming.
That works out to be everything - Accounting, Human Resources, Office Management, etc.
Luckily, I graduated with a B.A. in English & a Certificate in Linguistics
from the University of Akron to prepare me for just such a position.

Alyssa Panetta
Webmistress
Alyssa started working with MathMonkeys as an intern from
Northeastern University
where she is pursuing her BA in
Mathematics. She has since risen to the
post of Webmistress and has built the front end of many of the pages that you see
on this site, as well as other sites run by MathMonkeys.
When not slaving over a hot monitor or waiting to graduate, Alyssa can be found
behind a guitar as part of the folk/acoustic duo
Blue Goddess. Among Alyssa's other hobbies are photography, sewing, and
talking about herself in the third person.

Dale Vaillancourt
Mac OSX Developer
For the family:
I write the back ends of web applications such as SMILBase,
FolkWeb,
and Club Passim's event
calendar. I'm
also the resident Linux advocate, and I like Peet's coffee
almost as much as Robert does.
Outside the family:
Yeah, I've got a life outside of the family (no matter how much Robert
doesn't like it :-). I'm majoring in computer science at WPI
with a minor in electrical engineering, and I'm planning
on attending grad school at UC Berkeley.
I'm also involved with theater , and I
practice martial arts. When I come across some free time, I like to play
tennis, frisbee, bike, hike, read, and practice the piano.

Ivan Georgiev
Windows and Linux Programmer
I write the Unix parts of LiveMath Maker and Netscape
plugins and try to cover the various, but unified world of UNIX ;-).
Otherwise, I'm just about to graduate from Sofia University, Bulgaria
with major Computer Science. For more than half of my life I'm playing
around with computers - more often programming, actually. Participated
in many computer competitions and spent many nights gameing/programming.
Also I graduated a mathematical highschool, so : I love Math !
But beside this I really enjoy being in nature. I practice skiing,
snowboarding, but most of all I like windsurfing and yachting -
currently making my first steps as a skipper in boat-sailing
competitions. Not the big ones, though.

Allan Bonadio
Allan originally wrote Theorist, Expressionist and prodreg. He has a BS in Applied and
Engineering Physics from Cornell University where he minored in Cognitive
Psychology. Allan started getting interested in GUI software when the Macintosh
first came out in 1984. He's been GUI ever since. He keeps on trying to start
new projects but the users of the old projects keep asking for more stuff. He's
attempted and failed to learn several languages, so now when he tries to speak
French, the occasional German and Indonesian words come out interspersed. Allan
enjoys, um, programming.

Bocelli
Il Cieco Gatto di Roma
In October 2001, Robert (and wife Karen) adopted Bocelli
from the Torre Argentina Cat Santuary
in the center of Rome. Bocelli was blinded in 1999 and abandoned, but rescued
from the streets of Rome and lived in Torre Argentina for two years before
moving to Boston.
Bocelli
now enjoys wrestling with our other cats,
laying in the sunshine, sitting in the window listening
to birds, and singing. And, of course, 6 or maybe 7 naps per day.
Bocelli passed away from heart failure on November 4, 2002. He is
missed every day. He had a very happy last year, lived like a king,
and was the sweetest cat.
